  • Are there any computers available at SLAC to complete WBT?

    Answer:

    Yes, there are a number of systems available for anyone who needs to complete training in the Security Office at the Vistor, User, Employee Center (VUE), Building 53 . Click here for a map.

  • Can I stop a WBT course and resume it at a later time?

    Answer:

    Yes, most of our courses will automatically bookmark your progress. The next time you launch the course, you will be given the option of resuming the course where you left off.

    Be sure to close the course and log off if you are planing to take a break from the training. Failure to do so will result in loss of progress.

  • Do I need to register for Web Based training?

    Answer:

    No, it is not necessary to register for a web based training course. You just need to log into the Web Training Portal and all courses in the catalog there are available to take.

     

  • Does a web course need to be in my STA in order for me to take it?

    Answer:

    No, web training is not required to be assigned in the STA in order to take it via the Web Training Portal.

  • How do I print a certificate of completion?

    Answer:

    Most SLAC web-based courses will give you the option of printing a certificate directly from within a course upon completion.

    In the event that a course does not give you the option to print a certificate, or if you would like to print a certificate for a course that had been previously completed, follow these steps:

    1. Login to the Web Training Portal.
    2. Click on My Progress under Quick Links on the left of the page.
    3. Find the course you need a certificate for in the list of your courses. Verify it has a completed on date displayed.
    4. Click on the arrow icon in the Actions column to the right of that course.
    5. Select View Certificate to view and print your certificate of completion.
  • What is the password to login to WBT?

    Answer:

    Use the Training Portal Password Request form in the Support menu above to request the web-based training login password.

  • Who do I contact if I am having trouble logging in or taking WBT?

    Answer:

    If you are having any issue with a WBT, use the Support menu above and submit a Web Training Issue. We will respond to your issue quickly.

  • Why can't I find a particular course in the web training portal catalog?

    Answer:

    If you are not able to see a particular web based course in the SkillPort list of courses, you may be entered in the wrong worker category. Use the Support menu above and submit a Web Training Issue support request. We will look into your issue and respond as soon as possible.
